Deductible Gift Recipient status

Eco Warriors Australia is endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Item 1 charity. Donations made to Eco Warriors Australia may be tax deductible where permitted under Australian taxation law. A donation is a voluntary gift for which no material benefit is received in return.

Donation receipts

A receipt will be issued for eligible donations made through our website or other approved donation channels. Donation receipts will include:

  • Eco Warriors Australia’s legal name
  • ABN
  • A statement that the receipt is for a gift or donation
  • The date and amount of the donation

It is the donor’s responsibility to ensure that accurate contact details are provided at the time of donation.

Use of donations

Donations are used to support the charitable purposes and activities of Eco Warriors Australia, including:

  • Habitat restoration and revegetation projects

Donations made through our website are processed via secure third-party payment providers. Eco Warriors Australia does not store complete credit card or payment information on its systems.

Recurring donations

Where recurring donations are available, donors may amend or cancel their recurring donation at any time by contacting Eco Warriors Australia. Changes or cancellations may take several business days to process.

Refunds

Donations are made voluntarily and are generally non-refundable. Refund requests may be considered in exceptional circumstances, including:

  • An incorrect donation amount was entered.
  • A duplicate donation was processed.
  • An unauthorised transaction occurred.
  • A technical error resulted in an incorrect payment.

Refund requests should be submitted as soon as possible and will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Where a refund is approved, it will be returned via the original payment method. Any tax-deductible receipt issued for the donation will become void.
